Friday 01/29/2016 - Chicago Black Violence Bringing January Out Like A Lion! Police: 3 MURDERED, 7 SHOT & WOUNDED in Chicago weekend shootings

Three people were killed and at least seven others were wounded in shootings on the South and West sides between Friday evening and Saturday morning, police said.

Shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, a man was shot to death in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

The 31-year-old was shot in his side about 2:55 a.m. near the intersection of Washington and Kilbourn, police said. He was dead at the scene, but further details were not immediately available.
